Dear Supporters and Scout group members
Thank you for your ongoing support for our Scouting Group and Scout Hall. We have 3-4 scouting groups meeting weekly and a growing number of groups making regular bookings of the hall, plus social bookings. As a community-based organisation, and particularly for children, we have to keep up with the rising number of regulations, safety/safeguarding especially. With that comes additional costs and considerations. Not to forget rising running costs.
The Harnham Scouting group have been lucky enough to keep prices at a low level for a number of years, however we need to increase our prices to keep our offering viable.
From January 1st, 2025, the prices will increase to:

Social gatherings (one-off day hire – weekends/ school holidays) £50 ; (Scout group members £30)

Scout group subscription fees £36 per term (£18 per half term)

Brownies/Guides £15 per session

Regular group bookings – independent rates
Plus we have a number of outstanding subs and booking payments which affect what we can afford going forward. If you outstanding payments please pay ASAP.
The easiest way is to pay direct to the Groups Bank Account administered by our Group Treasurer, please also tell us that you've done so.
If you would like to pay by BACS. The details required are:

Reference: You will need to add a reference for the Treasurer, your Childs Surname and Section eg Smith/Scouts is preferred or Booking date/reference.
